Members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organisation have been urged to remain courageous in line with their preaching work.
During a circuit assembly held at the Accra Assembly Hall, Baastona, Spintex Road, Accra on Sunday, 13 January 2019, the witnesses were urged not to give up their boldness in the face of severe challenges.
Stephen Fiifi Dadzie, one of the speakers at the convention, noted that: “We need boldness in this time of the end because of the challenges we face today. We need that in our families, schools, in our communities and everywhere.
“We need boldness today in all that we do in our worship of Jehovah.”
He added: “Jehovah can use you or any of his servants to make his purpose come true. Don't throw away the boldness you have acquired. Build your boldness by taking in accurate knowledge from the bible.”
He also encouraged all participants to take solace in the Bible’s account recorded in Deuteronomy 31: 6, which says: “Be courageous and strong. Do not be afraid or struck with terror before them, for Jehovah your God is the one marching with you. He will neither desert you nor abandon you.”
Over 2,000 people were in attendance and 17 new converts were baptised.
Some of the topics discussed during the convention were, ‘Be Bold like Enoch, Moses, Jehoshaphat and Peter’; ‘Muster up boldness in the Ministry’; ‘Take your stand for True worship’; ‘Imitate Christ’s boldness when facing pressure in the family, in school, at work and in the community’; and ‘your boldness will be richly blessed’.
