concern NPP members give DCE 14days ultimatum

A group calling itself concern NPP members in the Ofinso North constituency has given the district chief executive of the area,Hon. David Asare a 14day ultimatum to retract comments they deem unattractive and divisive and that will not help the party going forward.

Hon. David Asare is on record to have threatened anyone in the party who wants to contest the current member of parliament (MP).In his threat audio he said he,(as the DCE) will not sit down for anyone to contest the MP and that anybody who thinks he will contest in the primaries would not be allowed even if it will cost a bloodshed he will. He however warned that if any member does not understand must go to hell.

He intimated that the MP has performed very well and that he doesn't need to be contested.
The DCE made these comments when the Assembly launched some heavy duty trucks to be used in the construction and reshaping of some roads in the district.

Meanwhile, the angry members of the party addressing NPP members in a press conference wants the DCE to be mindful of how, when and where he speaks because that's not the first time he had made those distasteful and misguided comments.

Any attempt to get the constituency chairman has proved futile.
