According to Prof Oquaye, this is the first time in the history of Ghana’s political dispensation that members of the house, especially from the opposition side, have comported themselves by not showing placards and also not hooting at a president during the state of the nation address.
“This is a good example and should be recorded,” he said on Friday, 22 February.
He further stated: “The 7th parliament has done something which has never happened in the history of our political dispensation and it should be recorded as a good example and I congratulate all of you. The credit goes to both sides.”
