He disclosed this in an interview with Royals FM's PAE MU KA Host Nana Anfreh Damanta on Wednesday June 12,2019.
The Assemblyman said the school is not functioning anymore after the first batch of the school completed.
Teachers who were teaching in the school were also unstable and no students was coming to the school again due to lack of infrastructure the Assemblyman added.
When asked about the community day senior high school project awarded into contract by the previous government,he said it was very true that the previous administration started building a community day senior high school in the Buoku Community but could not complete it before the change of government.
The project has been abandoned after the change of government Mr Daniel Agyei has said.
According to him due to the lack of infrastructure to accommodate the students and lack of classrooms for students to undertake lessons, parents refused to send their wards to the school which leads to the closed down of the facility.
Hon. Daniel Agyei finally called on the government, Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive, the Member of Parliament and other stakeholders to come to their aid to complete the abandoned school project to enable them reopen the school.
The abandoned Buoku Community Day Senior High School is one of the 200 Community Day Senior High Schools promised by the then NDC government in its 2012 manifesto under the Free SHS policy.
