At a presentation ceremony at the forecourt of Banda District Assembly, Hon. Mary Konneh said the move forms part of effort to improve extension and monitoring service under the NPP Government flagship programme, Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) .
According to her the move also aims at enhancing the efficiency of agricultural extension officers who roles were critical to successful implementation of the Planting for Food and Jobs policy.
The DCE pledged government continues support for farmers and staff of the Department, to achieve the objective of transforming the economy through agriculture.
She cautioned the beneficiaries against using the motorbikes for their personal activities as it was purely meant for field work.
Honourable Mary Konneh also advised them against careless riding and flaunting motor traffic laws, reminding them that they must always have their crush helmets on.
