We’ve moved from taxation to Production over the last 3yrs – Ofori Atta

Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has said the Akufo-Addo government has made giant strides in the economy by moving it from taxation to production.

Presenting the Financial Policy of the government for 2020 in Parliament on Wednesday, the Finance Minister intimated that the gains made are incontestable and significant to the wellbeing of Ghanaians.

 “We’ve stabilised the macroeconomic turbulence in the management of the national economy, adding “We have delivered our flagship programmes; The gains made so far are significant and it is, indeed, to the glory of God”.

According to him, Ghana’s economic growth was as a result of the Akufo-Addo administration’s performance in fulfilling pledges and programmes.

The 2020 Budget Statement and Economic Policy is on the theme: “Consolidating the gains for growth, jobs and prosperity for all.”
