Covid-19: 15 Persons Under Voluntary Quarantine At Nkonsia

As the coronavirus continues to spread in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions to avoid the spread of the disease President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Friday 27 March,2020 announced the lockdown of the two regions.

Following the announcement for the lockdown our brothers and sisters who are staying in Accra and Kumasi are coming home.

To avoid the spread of novel coronavirus I have encouraged  the Nkonsia citizens not to mingle themselves with our brothers and sisters who will be coming home from the lockdown areas Honourable Evans Amoako Besseah, the assembly member of the Nkonsia electoral area has said.

According to the assembly member about 15 people have been voluntarily quarantine themselves at Nkonsia.

Honourable Evans Amoako Besseah revealed this in an interview with the newsmen on Monday March 30,2020 when the disinfection team carried the excercise to Nkonsia.

He commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Member of Parliament for Wenchi Professor George Gyan Baffour and the Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Prince Kwakye Afiriyie for their timely Intervention to protect the environment from the virus.
