Dr Prince Quashie, the Municipal Director of the Ghana Health Service at Wenchi Municipal Health Directorate said if someone is suspected cases of the novel coronavirus will be sent to the facility.
When you get to the facility the health experts at center will ask you some few questions and after that they will take their temperatures and if they realize it is above normal, immediately the protocol is that they will be isolated.
If we find any suspected case at the facility who has gone beyond the normal temperature the person will be isolates and then transferred to sunyani.
Again we have also put measures in place to mitigate the coronavirus outbreak within the Municipality so we are providing screening for the general public visiting the hospital premises for free of charge.
We have also decided to limit the number of people visiting their patients at the Wenchi Methodist hospital to a maximum of two people with immediate effect Dr. Prince Quashie explained.

The Wenchi Municipal Security Council have empowered the police to deal with individuals or groups who will defer the directives by the President Akufo-Addo suspension of churches, funerals, social gathering among others.
The Wenchi community have been zone into four quadrants by the police to be monitoring the activities of individuals or groups.

The Wenchi Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Prince Kwakye Afiriyie also called on the Wenchi citizens to abide with the President directives to help combat the dreadful coronavirus.
He therefore warned individuals or groups who will defer the directives by President Akufo-Addo suspension of churches, funerals, social gathering among others will be dealt accordingly to the law of the country.
A bill has been laid before parliament to enforce every Ghanaian to complied with the directives he said.
