The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has initiated investigations into the conduct of an unidentified Nurse whose twerking video has widely circulated on social media.
A video of a nurse in her nursing uniform got tongues wagging when it went viral on social media with a section of the public arguing it’s a disgrace to the noble profession.
The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association in reacting to the video said: “the GRNMA disapproves of such capers by nurses and midwives and regards twerking in a professional uniform as unacceptable conduct and a disgrace to our noble profession.”
The Association has directed its district and regional officers as well as the public to help in identifying the nurse in question for disciplinary action to be taken against her.
It advised nurses and midwives to desist from such unacceptable behaviour especially when they are in uniform in order to protect the dignity of the profession.
