Dec. 7: Don’t go to polling station drunk – Police Commander warns officers

The Central Regional deputy Police Command DCOP Dennis Adade has advised police officers who have been deployed to monitor the elections not to go to the polling Stations drunk.

“Don’t do anything to disgrace the police Service, let’s continue to keep a good image for the police service.”

He advised them to take instructions only from the Presiding Officers and not to tell a voter what to do at the Polling Stations.

Addressing 3,510 security personnel from various security agencies, DCOP Dennis Adade advised them to be vigilant at their respective polling stations in the Central Region and further urged them to ensure the ballot boxes are protected at all times.
