A stalwart of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) and Director of Research at the Presidency, Victor Newman has died.
He passed on at the Legon Hospital today, Thursday, December 10 after a short illness.
Victor Newman a founding member of the NPP was appointed as the Director of Research at the Presidency in 2017.
He had earlier worked at the Economic Research Planning Services of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Western Castings Limited and the Ghana Exim Economic Consultants.
Mr Newman from 2008 till 2016 served as the Director of Research for Akufo Addo electioneering campaigns.
He was the father of the Member of Parliament-elect for Okai koi South, Darkoa Newman.
