National Chairman hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Stephen Ntim has wished both Polling Station Executives and Electoral Area Coordinators aspirants the best of luck as the party begins processes to select its officers at the polling station level on Saturday, 19th February 2022.
In a short statement, the former National First Vice Chairman of the NPP entreated the party leadership to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free and fair manner, and devoid of unsightly scenes.
“We are mindful that the successful conduct of this and subsequent internal elections paves way for our mission to break the eight for the very first time. We have a onerous duty to succeed.”
The ruling New Patriotic Party announced timetable for the election of Executives from polling stations to the National starting this month.
The party said in a statement that it will begin with the Polling Stations Elections which will start on 19th February to March 5, 2022, across all the polling stations in the country.
Subsequently, the party will hold its Electoral Area Coordinators election, and the Constituency Executives elections in March, this year.
While the Regional and National Executives Elections will also take place in April and June 2022 respectively.
