The Member of Parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency in the Central Region, Alhaji Kobina Ghansah says the abysmal-performing Akufo-Addo led-government must be held responsible if he’s not able to fulfill all his campaign promises.
According to him, the government has failed to release statutory funds which has slowed development in the constituency.
“Kobina Ghana is capable of fulfilling all his promises if the governance goes well and if the statutory payments are made. But at the moment, we are in the third quarter and not even a single common fund has been paid. So if I’m not able to fulfill my promises, the blame shouldn’t come to Alhaji Ghansah but to the bogus NPP government,” he told GHOne News, Yaw Boagyan on the sidelines of an event where he paid for the driving license for 500 drivers, Okada and Pragya riders in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency.
He slammed the government for mismanaging the economy resulting in severe hardship, adding that even the IMF bailout will not rescue Ghana because of incompetent leadership.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of his kind gesture expressed their gratitude to the legislator for the support and appealed to him to continue his good deeds as he promised during the 2020 election campaign.
