The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is undertaking planned maintenance works in the Greater Accra Region.
The exercise is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 9 am to 5 pm.
A Press Statement from the state-power distributor said the repair works are aimed at improving service delivery.
Areas to be affected are Tabora, Racecourse, Bankyease, Yellow house, Ofankor Seven Great, Kissehman, Ashalley Botwe, Little Roses and Achimota Golf Park.
The company has apologized for the development saying, it “regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise”.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Mr Kwame Agyeman-Budu has asked residents of Kumasi in the Ashanti region to brace up for more power outages from now till the end of the year.
He said the current situation of unannounced power outages could persist till the end of the year by which time the company would have resolved the challenges facing its power systems.
